As the head of Distinctive Coaching, Jason Rosado provides business coaching, workshops and seminars to help business owners and entrepreneurs create growth and success for themselves and their companies. Jason has more than 20 years of training, management and entrepreneurial experience in a variety of business-to-business and business-to-consumer environments ranging from centralized development of operations and customer service to nation-wide sales training tours for new product rollouts. He currently has a relationship with Microsoft, acting as a product trainer when needed, training all levels of retail sales professionals on how to effectively present and sell Microsoft hardware and software products.
Jason served as the head of training for Citizens Conferencing, a leading audio/video/web conferencing company servicing clients across all industries, including many Fortune 500 companies, prior to its purchase by Premiere Global Services. In this role, he developed, implemented and managed numerous training programs and initiatives including staff development, organizational strategies and customer service programs for over 100 local employees and a remote sales force, culminating in assisting the organizational transition into the new company.
His collaborative coaching and training style developed from combining his passion for helping people to fulfill their potential with his ability to have them learn and internalize information in a way that they can take action and apply it to their own experiences, situations and goals. In earlier training and management posts in the financial services and restaurant industries, his philosophy of developing employees in areas that are beneficial to both the company's business goals and the individual's career aspirations led to happier, more productive and accomplished employees, lower turnover and increased business growth. Jason's current clients benefit by building better strategies, greatly improving business effectiveness, and sharply increasing revenue.
Jason holds a B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Psychology from the University of Illinois, is a graduate of the Core Essentials Program at Coach U, and is member of the International Coaching Federation. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Village Players Theatre, a non-equity, professional theatre, and is involved in sports as an avid cyclist and captain of his volleyball team. Jason and his wife currently reside in the Chicago area.
