About Biz Coach Jason

"Biz Coach Jason" RosadoAs the head of Distinctive Coaching, Jason Rosado provides business coaching, keynote speeches and seminars to help business owners and entrepreneurs create growth and success for themselves and their companies.

Jason has more than 20 years of training, management and entrepreneurial experience in a variety of business-to-business and business-to-consumer environments ranging from centralized development of operations and customer service to nation-wide sales training tours for new product rollouts. During the past few years, he has had a relationship with Microsoft, acting as a product trainer, supporting all levels of retail sales professionals on how to effectively present and sell Microsoft hardware and software products.

Jason served as the head of training for Citizens Conferencing, a leading audio/video/web conferencing company servicing clients across all industries, including many Fortune 500 companies, prior to its purchase by Premiere Global Services. In this role, he developed, implemented and managed numerous training programs and initiatives including sales staff development, organizational strategies and customer service programs for over 100 local employees and a remote sales force, culminating in assisting the organizational transition into the new company.

His collaborative coaching and training style developed from combining his passion for helping people to fulfill their potential with his ability to have them learn and internalize information in a way that they can take action and apply it to their own experiences, situations and goals. In earlier training and management posts in the financial services and restaurant industries, his philosophy of developing employees in areas that are beneficial to both the company’s business goals and the individual’s career aspirations led to happier, more productive and accomplished employees, lower turnover and increased business growth. Jason’s current clients benefit by building better vision, strategies and motivation; greatly improving business skills and effectiveness; and sharply increasing their networking, marketing and sales abilities.

Jason holds a B.A. in Communication with concentrations in Social Psychology, Leadership & Group Dynamics, Organizational Communication and Adult Learning & Motivation  from the University of Illinois. He is a graduate of the Core Essentials Program at Coach U and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.

While Jason is actively involved in his community, serving various organizations through leadership roles and volunteer activities, he also enjoys networking and organizing formal business groups as well as mixing in more casual activities like playing volleyball, tennis and cycling.  Jason grew up in Oak Park, IL., and he and his wife currently live in the Chicago area.
