Make or Break Your Business – 5 Step “Secret Recipe” to Succeed Wildly

Today I’m sharing with you what you need to know

work less hours
and make more money


You know what you do is very valuable to lots of people. And together, we’re on a mission to change the world. But… is your business up to it?

As a dedicated, caring service provider and business owner, you may be in this same situation as many others: disappointed by the slow growth of your business and overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done and the number of hours you’re working.

Yep, we’re half way into 2013.

So many service-based business owners are having a really hard time just making a go of it, let alone setting up the work/life balance, time and freedom that they dearly want and went into business for in the first place…

Luckily, help is on the way, and you can fill your business with great clients, work less hours and feel relieved, satisfied and secure with where your business is, and confident in what needs to happen to keep it heading in an upward direction, so you’ll never need to look back.

I can understand what has you in this situation to begin with. Any or all of these below circumstances can crush your best-laid plans and negatively impact the growth and sustainability of your business, especially when you:

—> Know what you want to accomplish but feel confused and discouraged because you aren’t sure how to get there.

—> Feel the frustration of not having enough work and not bringing home enough money.

—> Struggle to stay focused and motivated, not keeping up with all the numerous details, keeping you stressed out and working too many hours.

—> Aren’t good at asking for help or you try to do it all yourself even if you have employees or access to assistance. Believing “No one else can do it as good as me” is very understandable, but it’s a HUGE mistake that many business owners make over and over.

—> Spend too many hours on time-wasters, low priority and non-profit generating activities, but you are great at justifying them! (And you know deep down you’re sabotaging your business and your success by doing this, but just can’t seem to break the cycle.)

How do I know this so well?

Because I’ve been there, and I do also know…

Your business would bring you everything you wanted when you opened:

* Helping more people in a deep, meaningful way

* Only working the hours that you want to work

* Enjoying a growing reputation and being seen as an expert in your field

* Making the kind of money that you can only make by being in business for yourself

* Feeling the pride, satisfaction and accomplishment of building your business in the image you uniquely have, and being very successful with it.

It could be because when you went to school or trained in your field, there were limited or perhaps no classes on sales and marketing and little training on how to build a business. Maybe it’s because you haven’t had a mentor or someone to lean on to teach you the management skillsthat business owners need to succeed. Perhaps you simply aren’t good at organizing your time or thinking strategically and delegating – seeing and planning several steps ahead.

Some people are naturally good at one or two of these, but very few are good at all. And without some way to learn and practice them, it’s no wonder that you’re having the trouble and setbacks that you face. No one can blame you for this.

1.) Know exactly what it is that you want – know what your vision is, who you very deeply want to serve, what you want your business to look like, how much income you want, and when you want to work.

2.) Have a written plan – so you’re not winging it and spinning your wheels day-after-day and month-after-month, “doing” a lot but not having anything to show for it.

3.) Use simple, inexpensive marketing strategies that use less of your time, but get you more clients. (great concept, huh?)

4.) Determine which time-wasting and energy-sucking activities to ditch or delegate, and practice the best methods to teach and motivate a support team of high-performing staff, marketing partners, vendors and even volunteers to free your time and eliminate your stress.

5.) Set aside designated time to work on “owning your business” – not just being a service provider - time to organize, strategize and focus on what gets you the best results and energizes you the most.
